#SH with O’Tionne Willis

Hello I am O’Tionne,

Some of my self-love and self-care practices are taking a bath, spending time with my dog, drinking tea and watching movies or a series.

One major change I made in my life that had affected me most positively was transferring to another college. Upon, transferring I became happier, made friends, became active on campus by joining clubs and attending club meetings and events. The transition helped me experience a lot more like the change of environment, people and culture.

I started my own business, because I was using Shea Butter Babe for years because it helped relieve the symptoms of my psoriasis and seborrheic dermatitis. I realized that there’s other people who also struggle with their skin so I wanted to be able to help people achieve healthy glowing skin. By selling the product, I knew that would be one way to build clientele and also help people. As time went by, I began selling more products so that their is a product for everyone.

TionneSkin is a skincare business which provides quality organic products for inexpensive prices. We offer many skincare products such as Shea Butter Babe, lip scrubs, lip gloss and more.

Within the next 3-5 years, I hope to have my own house, and have my business featured in a magazine and/or tv. I hope to have my products be sold in stores like Target, Nordstrom, Macy’s, Sephora, Ulta etc so that my brand can get more exposure.

The most valuable advice I can give women looking to become entrepreneurs is to always believe in yourself, encourage other women instead of competing, support other entrepreneurs and surround yourself with positivity.

The best piece of business advice that I received was to make sure that your brand stands out from other brands. Answer the questions, what benefits do you offer? Upon, receiving the product, how does your customer feel? What makes your brand different from others?

I learned to be confident by believing in myself, motivating myself and thinking positive thoughts. If you don’t believe in yourself then anything can stop you form achieving your goals. But if you believe in yourself, you can achieve anything.

I measure my own terms of success by looking at statistics, revenue va expenses, productivity, consistency and customer feedback.

In my self-transformation journey I look forward to exploring new hobbies, and interests that can help me better myself and improve my health.
